Keep the requests coming in. Great results.

To Be Green, is the name of this large dot bowl. I choose a Chartreuse glaze. My glazing technique has improved and it shows. Hurray!!!
The bowl has a presence. I like that in my work. Make each piece strong.

I am real happy with the last firing. As I unloaded it each shelf had a perfect piece. This does not happen very often. Here are three plates. I have been working on color combinations. The glazes I used. Textured Amber for the main glaze then, Chartreuse, Wheat, and Orange. Wow

The fourth will be Plum.

The mugs are custom requests. I never got a photo of the first mug that was glazed gray. So then the word got out (photo)Now there is an orange one for a student at UNCW. The green one is for someone at Chaps and the lime green with peacock is for someone in Chaps. The textured Amber orange is for someone in LA and finally the Blue and orange is for someone in Illinois.

This is a large platter. Great glazing again (Chartreuse and Chocolate) The dot and line design. The dots are now the handles. Great feel. Every day I make a new piece I am perfecting my technique. So keep the requests coming in so I can create all these strong independent works of art.

Beautiful pictures of your work, my friend!

The carport.... yes This is where I create, make and fire all the pottery. It consists of a worktable, slabroller, kiln, drying and storage cabinet. The seasons dictate when I can work. Timing is everything. Spring and Fall is the best time to work outside. Summer months it is to hot and then the clay melts. In the winter the clay can freeze, plus when you work with cold clay your fingers become icickles.
