Herb Fest May 2, 2015 Beautiful Day for Dots and Lines Pottery!
Herb Fest 2015, was a beautiful day to celebrate the arts and herbs! Leesa Brinkley and I shared a booth. This was the best idea, as our hand built pottery is similar in the conception but very different in the final outcome. Love that we can collaborate.
Lots of friends came bye to say hi. Everyone found special treasures that they took home!
Now it is back to my studio to create some more!!
Lucky Tree Gallery, Raleigh NC (across from the Meredith College gates) will be featuring my work. They should be open soon.

Studio
The carport.... yes This is where I create, make and fire all the pottery. It consists of a worktable, slabroller, kiln, drying and storage cabinet. The seasons dictate when I can work. Timing is everything. Spring and Fall is the best time to work outside. Summer months it is to hot and then the clay melts. In the winter the clay can freeze, plus when you work with cold clay your fingers become icickles.
