August kiln results something new
































Images of the bisque (first fire before glazing) and glazed results...
love love these little bowls ... stack them, nest them and arrange them anyway you want. It has to be fun... Sent them all to LA... they have already found new homes... I have already made more ... found some darker clay to get some other glaze colors... richer and deeper in value.
Kiln is going as we speak... Hurray!

Studio

The carport.... yes This is where I create, make and fire all the pottery. It consists of a worktable, slabroller, kiln, drying and storage cabinet. The seasons dictate when I can work. Timing is everything. Spring and Fall is the best time to work outside. Summer months it is to hot and then the clay melts. In the winter the clay can freeze,plus when you work with cold clay your fingers become icickles.
