Imperfection and perfection

Why that statement?? Well, I am always curious as to why my work does not get more attention. For one thing I think that my work may be to contemporary for where I am. so that is why I am posting this great statement I found in a magazine.
This is an interview from Hella Jongerius a Dutch industrial designer. Her answer on perfection and imperfection.
Hella: For me imperfection is a kind of humanity. It has to do with the craftsmanship of a piece having someones hand in the design so that each piece is a little bit different. With perfection everything is finished. There is no space for imagination.

It is Friday and I am out of here.... bye

Studio

The carport.... yes This is where I create, make and fire all the pottery. It consists of a worktable, slabroller, kiln, drying and storage cabinet. The seasons dictate when I can work. Timing is everything. Spring and Fall is the best time to work outside. Summer months it is to hot and then the clay melts. In the winter the clay can freeze, plus when you work with cold clay your fingers become icickles.
